The hip bones (where the belt was tightest) don’t actually change at all, even with the tightest corset. So even if Elizabeth’s waist was a lot smaller after she tight laced herself, the same belt worked very well on her. Sure, the top of the waist band has some space, but the bottom is still resting on the hip bones, so the belt can’t be moved at all. For corsetting, you should probably get a custom belt made with a waist belt that is tapered. More avid fans might remember the same look on Dani Divine in her famous corset & chastity shoot.
